Record Classes
Records are classified as public, internal or archived according to their operational purpose, sensitivity and continuing administrative value.
Version Integrity
Material revisions to official records must retain a version identifier and responsible authority. Superseded records remain traceable where preservation is legally and operationally appropriate.
Preservation
Foundational records, government resolutions, policies and significant operational notices are preserved in durable formats with sufficient context to establish authenticity.
Access and Retention
Access is provided according to classification. Retention periods are set by administrative need, privacy obligations and the historical value of each record class.
